The Site Explorer tool in Zutrix provides an in-depth view of any website’s backlink profile, organic traffic, and keyword performance. It’s a powerful tool for uncovering opportunities, tracking growth, and analyzing competitors. Here’s how to use each feature of Site Explorer:

1. Domain Search

To get started, enter the domain you want to analyze. You can select specific settings such as the country, language, and time range for the data. This allows you to tailor the insights to your target audience or geographic region.

2. Key Features and Metrics

Site Explorer’s analysis is divided into three main sections, each providing unique insights:

a) Global Insights

In Global Insights, you can analyze domain performance across different countries and markets. This section is valuable for understanding where your site or a competitor’s site is gaining traction worldwide. It helps you identify untapped geographic opportunities and monitor growth in key regions.

b) Growth Tracking

Growth Tracking allows you to monitor a domain’s performance over time. This includes metrics such as traffic trends, keyword fluctuations, and changes in backlink profiles. By regularly checking growth patterns, you can track the impact of your SEO efforts and adjust your strategy accordingly.

c) Competitor Analysis

Competitor Analysis enables you to compare your site with up to five competitors. This comparison provides insight into where you stand relative to similar sites and reveals potential areas for improvement. You’ll see competitor data for backlinks, organic keywords, and traffic, which can help you identify successful tactics and strategies.

3. Overview Section

The Overview section provides a snapshot of a domain’s overall SEO health. Key metrics include:

Backlink Profile: The total number of backlinks and referring domains, giving you a sense of the site’s link authority.

Organic Traffic: An estimate of the site’s monthly traffic from organic search.

Organic Keywords: The number of keywords the site ranks for in organic search results.

Paid Search: Details on any paid search activity, such as PPC campaigns.

Domain Rank: An authority score indicating the relative strength of the domain’s SEO.

These metrics give you a quick assessment of the domain’s SEO performance and growth potential.

4. Backlink Profile

In the Backlink Profile tab, you can explore the site’s backlinks in detail. Key insights include:

Spam Score Analysis: Helps you identify risky or spammy backlinks that might harm SEO. The spam score range indicates low, moderate, or high risk.

Top-Level Domain (TLD) Distribution: Shows the TLDs (e.g., .com, .net) of linking domains. This provides insight into the geographic distribution of backlinks.

Referring Domains by Location: A breakdown of where the site’s backlinks originate, helping you understand its international reach.

Use this information to evaluate the quality and relevance of backlinks, identify areas for link-building, and maintain a healthy link profile.

5. Organic Insights

The Organic Insights tab provides data on the site’s organic search performance:

Organic Traffic Value: An estimate of the value of the organic traffic based on keyword rankings.

Organic Keywords Changes: Shows the increase or decrease in the number of organic keywords the site ranks for. This helps track SEO progress and identify keyword opportunities.

Search Position Distribution: A breakdown of where keywords are ranking, from top positions to lower pages, indicating the overall visibility of the site’s content.

By analyzing these metrics, you can understand the effectiveness of the site’s organic SEO strategy and pinpoint opportunities to improve rankings for target keywords.

6. Export and AI Insights

For further analysis, you can export data from Site Explorer to view trends over time or share with team members. Additionally, Zutrix AI Insights offers automatic suggestions and observations based on the data, such as identifying growth trends or flagging potential risks in the backlink profile.

Using Site Explorer regularly can help you gain a competitive edge, improve your domain authority, and increase visibility in search engine results. Whether you’re monitoring your site or analyzing competitors, these insights are key to a successful SEO strategy.
