The Rankings Comparison feature in Competitor Insights allows you to directly compare your website’s keyword rankings with those of your competitors. This tool provides real-time data and valuable insights into your competitive positioning, helping you fine-tune your SEO strategy.

Rankings Comparison helps you:

• Identify Performance Gaps: See how your rankings compare to your competitors for shared keywords.

• Track Progress: Monitor ranking changes over time for both mobile and desktop search results.

• Focus on Opportunities: Pinpoint keywords where you can improve rankings and overtake competitors.

1. Access Rankings Comparison:

• Navigate to the Competitor Insights section in the side menu.

• Select a project or domain for analysis.

• Click on the Rankings Comparison tab at the top of the dashboard.

2. Understand the Data Displayed:

• The table contains the following columns:

• Keyword: The search term you and your competitor are targeting.

• Your Rankings: Displays your rankings for both mobile (📱) and desktop (💻) search results. Rankings beyond position 100 are shown as “-” for clarity.

• Competitor Rankings: Displays the competitor’s rankings for mobile (📱) and desktop (💻).

• Real-Time Data:

• Rankings are updated based on the latest data from your rank tracker.

• Mobile and desktop rankings are tracked separately for detailed analysis.

3. Filter and Search:

• Use the search bar to find specific keywords or apply filters to focus on areas of interest.

• Sort columns to prioritize keywords where your rankings are close to your competitors’.

4. Export Data:

• Download the ranking comparison data using the Export CSV button for further analysis or reporting.

• Separate data for mobile and desktop rankings allows you to optimize your content and technical SEO for each platform.

• Data Synchronization: Rankings are synced with your rank tracker results for consistency.

• Beyond Top 100: For clarity, rankings outside the top 100 are omitted.

• Separate Mobile/Desktop Rankings: Provides specific insights into platform-based performance differences.
