The Traffic Overview section in Zutrix helps you monitor your website’s user behavior and traffic trends by integrating directly with your Google Analytics account. Here’s how to understand and make the most out of this feature:
🔗 Connecting Your Website
Before accessing any metrics, make sure you’ve connected your project to Google Analytics:
Navigate to Traffic Overview from the left sidebar.
For each project, click on Connect Analytics.
Follow the prompts to authenticate and sync your Google Analytics data.
Once connected, Zutrix will automatically start pulling in visitor and session data.
📊 Understanding the Dashboard
Each connected project displays a traffic card with the following data:
Users: Total number of unique visitors in the selected date range.
Sessions: Total number of sessions (visits) made by users.
Last Synced: Timestamp of the last successful data sync with Google Analytics.
Analytics Button: Click “View Analytics” to explore detailed performance metrics for the site.
🔄 If a card displays 0, it likely means Google Analytics hasn’t been connected yet or the sync hasn’t happened.
📈 Key Traffic Metrics
Inside the Analytics View, you’ll find powerful metrics visualized in real time:
👥 Visitor Stats
Visitors: Total unique users
Page Views: Total views across all pages
Avg. Session Duration: Time spent per session
Bounce Rate: Percentage of users who left without any interaction
🧠 Smart Scoring Insights
Zutrix uses intelligent scoring to evaluate your traffic:
Traffic Quality: Based on engagement patterns and session quality (e.g., 66/100 — Good).
Content Performance: Measures how well your content retains attention.
Conversion Potential: Estimated potential of turning visits into actions.
Each score is color-coded and supported by descriptions so you know what to improve.
📆 Filter by Date Range
You can view data for:
7d, 14d, 30d, or 90d
Or customize with specific date ranges (e.g., Mar 6 to Apr 5)
Zutrix dynamically adjusts graphs and metrics based on your selected range.
📉 Traffic Trends
The Traffic Trends chart plots:
Daily or Weekly visitors/sessions
Clear view of spikes or drops in traffic
Use this to correlate performance with campaigns or updates.
🌍 Traffic Sources & Devices
Break down where your traffic comes from and how users access your site:
Traffic Sources: See how many sessions are from Referrals vs. Other sources.
Device Distribution: Visualize what percentage of traffic is from Mobile, Desktop, or Tablet.
💡 Pro Tips
Connect as early as possible to start tracking historical data.
Use Traffic Quality and Bounce Rate together to identify poorly performing content.
Check device data to optimize your website for the majority of your users (e.g. mobile-first if 68% are mobile).
