What Happens When You Share Projects in Zutrix?

When you share a project in Zutrix, the invitee will gain access to the selected project under specific permissions that you define. Here’s a detailed description of the process and how it works:

Step 1: Sending the Invitation

• Once you add a team member via the Teams section and specify their permissions (Read or Write), an invitation email will be sent to the invitee’s email address.

Step 2: Accepting the Invitation

• The invitee must accept the invitation through the link in the email.

New Users: If the invitee is not already a Zutrix user, they’ll need to create a new account to access the shared project.

Existing Users: If the invitee already has a Zutrix account, the shared project will automatically appear in their dashboard.

Step 3: Viewing Shared Projects

• Shared projects are visibly distinct in the invitee’s project list.

• These projects are marked with proprietary icons or labels indicating that they are shared.

• Invitees will only have access to the specific project(s) you’ve shared, and their permissions will be limited to what was granted during the invitation (e.g., view-only or edit access).

Step 4: Permissions and Access

• Invitees will see the project data (e.g., rankings, reports, or backlinks) within the Zutrix interface, but their ability to modify, download, or manage settings will be controlled by the permissions you assigned.

Read Access: The invitee can only view the data without making changes.

Write Access: The invitee can make edits or manage the project depending on what is shared.

Step 5: Ongoing Management

• As the project owner, you retain full control over the shared project. You can:

• Revoke access at any time.

• Modify permissions for existing team members (e.g., change from Read to Write).

• Track activity on shared projects to ensure effective collaboration.

Benefits of Shared Projects

Seamless Collaboration: Ideal for teams working on SEO strategies or consultants managing client accounts.

Customizable Permissions: Ensures sensitive data is accessed only by authorized users.

Effortless Identification: The proprietary icons make it easy to distinguish shared projects from your own.

Sharing projects in Zutrix ensures secure collaboration while maintaining ownership and control over your data.
