The Advanced Filters feature in Zutrix’s Backlink Monitoring tool helps you refine and focus your backlink data. Follow this guide to utilize it effectively:

1. Access the Advanced Filters

• Open the Backlink Monitor dashboard.

• Click on the Advanced Filters button to display the filtering options.

2. Available Filter Options

The Advanced Filters offer multiple criteria to customize the backlink data you want to analyze:

Anchor Text

• Use this field to search for specific anchor texts associated with your backlinks.

• Ideal for analyzing backlinks containing branded keywords, target keywords, or phrases of interest.

Dofollow

• Filter backlinks based on their dofollow/nofollow attributes:

Dofollow: Links that pass SEO value.

Nofollow: Links that do not pass SEO value but may contribute to referral traffic.

Spam Score Range

• Set a range (0 to 100) to focus on backlinks within a specific spam score threshold:

• Low spam scores (e.g., 0–30) indicate higher-quality links.

• High spam scores (e.g., 70–100) may highlight potentially harmful links that need attention.

TLD From

• Filter by the top-level domain (TLD) of backlinks (e.g., .com, .org, .edu).

• Useful for identifying authoritative backlinks from specific TLDs like .gov or .edu.

Item Type

• Specify the type of backlink:

Text: Links originating from text-based content.

Image: Links embedded in images.

Redirect: Links generated from redirects.

Is New

• Focus on newly discovered backlinks:

Yes: Only display backlinks added recently.

No: Show all backlinks, excluding new ones.

3. Applying Filters

• Adjust the filter criteria as needed.

• Results will update instantly, displaying only the backlinks matching your selected criteria.

4. Use Cases for Advanced Filters

a. Identifying High-Quality Backlinks

• Filter by:

Dofollow

Low Spam Score (0–30)

• Relevant Anchor Text

• Use this data to highlight backlinks contributing positively to your SEO.

b. Monitoring Harmful Backlinks

• Filter by:

High Spam Score (70–100)

• Unusual or irrelevant Anchor Text

• Specific TLDs associated with spammy domains.

• Use this to identify backlinks that may need to be disavowed.

c. Analyzing Recent Backlink Activity

• Filter by:

Is New: Yes

Date Range (using additional filter options).

• This helps track the effectiveness of link-building campaigns.

5. Export Filtered Results

• Once the filtered data is displayed, click the Export CSV option to download the results.

• Use the exported data for offline analysis or team collaboration.

Pro Tip: Regularly review backlinks with advanced filters to stay proactive in maintaining a healthy backlink profile and addressing SEO risks.
